  • Since 1987, the Church Health Center in Memphis, Tennessee, has provided quality, affordable healthcare for working uninsured people and their families. By uniting congregations with the Memphis community at large, the Center has grown into the largest faith-based clinic of its type in the country, caring for more than 55,000 patients of record without relying on government funding.
The Church Health Center has taken its mission -- to reclaim the church’s biblical commitment to care for all bodies and spirits -- to the Internet through HopeandHealing.org. Launched in early November, HopeandHealing.org provides and compiles online resources for people of faith looking for practical guidance on three main topics: health ministry, living with disease, and wellness. The site includes professional portals, which provide relevant information for chaplains, medical professionals, pastors, and parish nurses. Visit HopeandHealing.org and become a part of a growing community of people of faith caring for all bodies and spirits in our world.
