I am a graduate of the Hotel Dieu School of Nursing, Bathurst, NB class of 1974. Following graduation, I attended UPEi & obtained a BA in psychology in 1978. I returned to Bathurst & worked on a medical unit during the summers 1974 – 1978 & permanently from 1978 – 1980 at which time I moved to Halifax. From 1980 – 1981 worked in gynecology & transferred to psychiatry until my retirement in 2011. In 2010, I graduated from AST with a Masters in Theological studies. I have been a member of the Halifax-Yarmouth Ministry of Care & Companionship since its inception in 2015. I completed the Palliative Care certification in 2016 & completed the Parish Nursing Ministry Certificate in 2019. I have been involved in my parish as Chair of parish council & Chair of the liturgy committee. I am presently Spiritual Development Chair for the Halifax – Yarmouth Diocesan CWL. Prior to COVID I was involved in our Parish Visitation Ministry.
